a pause

first, the elder is asked to hear the ‘still, small voice’.
then, she/he is asked to listen deeply to that voice.
next, there might be an action.

i heard, listened deeply and am now taking action…actually, a non-action.

these blog posts are a wonderful way to share thoughts, ideas, insights and the joys and challenges of elderhood.

now it is time for a pause…a time to harvest as autumn approaches and to reflect on the recent past. I have chosen to take time to simply be with the changing leaves, the shorter days and the air moving into its crispness.

my plan is to re-turn with the turn of the year and I sincerely hope to, once again, visit your inbox each month with ponderings and, hopefully, some inspiration.

meanwhile, a bit of news from elderspirit…along with a colleague in the US, i will be hosting a workshop in November (planned before the pause).

“Awakening the Sage Within” is a wonderful interactive workshop in four parts, mondays from 6:30 to 9:00 GMT (1:30-4:00 eastern and 11:30-1:00 pacific), using the zoom platform.

p.s. sorry there are no images here. wordpress has changed everything around and i have yet to learn the new format.
